I've been behind the microphone for almost 30 years. In that time, I've hosted thousands of podcast episodes, radio shows, and live events. I've also been behind the scenes as a voice over artist, radio and podcast editor, and producer.
Podcast Host
As the voice of your podcast, I handle your podcast from scheduling the guest all the way through the interview and recording of the episode, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Most companies don’t have trained or experienced podcast hosts. Many times, untrained and inexperienced hosts aren’t comfortable behind the microphone and don’t deliver the important information in a way that is inviting, enjoyable, nor effective for the listener. As a result, episodes and even interviews can feel awkward, uncomfortable, and unprofessional.
I work directly with each client to ensure the podcast is what you want.
I’m extremely comfortable and experienced in a variety of show formats. I’ve hosted and conducted podcasts that include education, tech, reviews, interviews, and entertainment to name a few. As a result, I’m an expert at assimilating myself into a variety of topics, formats, and interview styles.
For interviews, I make guests feel extremely comfortable and conversational so they can shine, be professional, and deliver the expert information they know best. I ask open-ended questions to create interesting conversation and dialogue.
Voice Over Artist
If you are needing a professional voice over intro and outro for your podcast or audio project, I offer that service.
Two voice over options to consider:
- Raw, unedited voice recording for your intro and outro. I record multiple takes so you can choose which fits your needs the best!
- Fully produced intro and outro. Details below.
If you choose the fully produced intro and outro option, send me your script, choose a music style, and we’ll take it from there!
Once the project is complete, you own the full rights to the completed Intro and Outro.
Editing and Production
I've edited and produced more than 2,000 podcast episodes and radio shows over the last 2 decades.
You're getting me as your producer rather than a subcontracted editor.
I'm really intent on ensuring that your podcast sounds excellent. That said, I spend a significant amount of time going through your episode, second by second, ensuring that all of the mistakes, ums, uhs, etc. are taken out in a natural way to ensure you (and anyone else on your show) sounds excellent. Many podcast editors miss quite a few of these things. I'm intent on catching all of them.
Additionally, I pay close attention to editing for content (with your permission and guidance, of course) in order to ensure that your content is succinct and to the point, and keeps your listeners' attention. Things like: repetitive comments, unnecessary banter, rambling, etc. This is done in communication with you, of course. But I wanted to mention this as it's something I have experience and comfort in doing. We want to make sure we're delivering the best value to your listeners!
