Dear Lord in Heaven, what have we DONE?!? Beatrice la Fleur, aka, Miss Ice, aka, ??? joins Captain Influence, aka, Cosmic Interrogator, and The Real Brian, aka, The Man, on this week's... um... crazy? No... insane? No... out of control? Sure. Episode. Not only that, but Caffeinatrix stops by surprisingly to see The Fricken Chicken and talk with Captain Influence. Not to see nor talk with TRB nor Miss Ice though. Only Captain gets the love this episode.
Last week, I touched on the idea of you get more of what you focus on. I wanted to expand on that this week. We’ve got some good thoughts! We also have our typical nerd out session of lots of fun things guaranteed to better your life. New music, tv show and gaming reviews. It really was a lot of fun and we hope you LOVE this episode as much as we did!!
Oh, and you may now refer to me, The Real Brian, as The Man from this day forward.
I touched on this last week and you really need to listen to the discussion as it will give you the full picture of what we're trying to communicate here.
It’s easy to focus on things that are negative or create anger, frustration, sadness, etc in us. It’s easy to sit on our couches, or in our desk chairs, or on our toilet and rant and complain about everything without getting up to do something about it. Yet, last week, I saw Caffeinatrix, we chatted, and after a really challenging week for me (TRB), she somehow lifted my spirits, put a smile on my face, and helped me to end my week RIGHT. I'm thankful for her and the fact that she unleashed her superhero. Unknowingly! That, plus SevenBlueSeven's story that he shared last week (about his hate and buttons he gives to others) REALLY made me think...
It's a great reminder that when we unleash our superhero, even by doing something small like smiling for someone or just listening, we can profoundly lift someone up out of whatever they're dealing with. Additionally, when we form a habit of focusing on the positive and on things that are healthy, good, beautiful, encouraging, empowering, inspiring... you get the picture... then we start to SEE more of that. Consequently, we see less of the negative. Hope you enjoy this discussion. And I hope you JOIN US in focusing on the positive!!!
